Prototype exploration during studio classes ⚡️⚡️⚡️

1. Exploration of Subject 3D Scanning for VR projects by @kirbyemmittart
@mckinleystreett and Xingman Cheng.

2. Exploration and prototyping of hardware and software to transform graphics into sound and music by @leonor.t.h and Xingman Cheng.

3. Proyection mapping for performance, prototype and final visualisation by @_owenmoran_. Owen presented his midterm thesis submission using this artistic concept.

Digital Media and Technology III is a studio course for second-year students that focuses on both the process and the concept. The course's goal is to refine individual creative practice and working methodology through the exploration of creative modes of prototyping and research.

The studio course is guided by Benjamin Gaulon @recyclism , artist, researcher, educator, and cultural producer. Ben has previously released work under the name “recyclism“. His research focuses on the limits and failures of information and communication technologies; planned obsolescence, consumerism, and disposable society; ownership and privacy; through the exploration of détournement, hacking, and recycling. He is currently the director of NØ SCHOOL @noschoolnevers , a non-profit organisation whose mission is to support and promote emerging art and design research and practices that address the social and environmental impacts of information and communication technologies, in France and beyond.
